A Temporary Farewell
Chris Mooney joined us at the very beginning and has been contributing to Science Progress since we launched in October 2007. He’ll be taking a break for the next school year and will head to MIT as a Knight Science Journalism Fellow. In his “Temporary Last Column,” he looks back over two years of science and policy. While he’s gone we’ll miss both his insightful commentary and clever titles. (A few personal favorites: Paradigm Sheep, Yes, Virginia, There is a War on Science, and Attack of the Nerds from Outer Space.)
Join us in congratulating Chris as we bid him a temporary farewell.

Good luck and thanks for all the interesting and informative articles. This is one of the three science feeds that made it through the filtering process in my GooogleReader last year, and it was definitely for a good reason.

August 17th, 2009 at 8:30 amAh thank you Jon Swenson for that very relevant comment on this farewell post!
August 18th, 2009 at 5:00 pmOh and Jon….scientists and science are beholden to no one, except the truth.
