Research!America's public opinion polling has found that 70% of Americans would like to see more information about science and research in the media. Frequently the most e-mailed New York Times articles are those covering science, research and medicine. Citizen participation does work, and our citizens seem willing to participate if given the chance. The public is interested in science, and I love the idea of an organized way for us all to participate more in the science policy of our country.
