The habit of putting unqualified and incompetent political operatives into critical government agencies is a deliberate effort to politicize and destroy the effectiveness of government. Title X State Directors must rise up in protest and publicize any and every effort made to diminish their funding and operations. We only need to hold out for 15 months and this should be yet another campaign issue. I'm sure that the 40 or so of us who participated in Gordon Conferences on Fertilization are devastated by appointment of a Pat Robertson adjunct faculty who has NO UNDERSTANDING OF THE BIOLOGY OF HUMAN REPRODUCTION! Former heads of the NICHD and the Center for Population Research (who were REAL, EXPERIENCED,INTERNATIONALLY RECOGNIZED SCIENTIFIC LEADERS)must be squirming miserably in their graves - their ENORMOUS PROGRESS IN HUMAN REPRODUCTION - DESTROYED BY AN IGNORANT, DERANGED, PRESIDENT!
